Talk to the Hand

I have been thinking about puppets recently and you know how it is, when you have something in the back of your mind, you tend to see related things everywhere.

Down the lane towards the reservoir there are two lost gloves. They have been there for a couple of weeks now. Someone will eventually take them but for now they have been put on the top of two adjacent posts.

I sketched them on Friday.

It was very windy and in the wind the loose woolly fingers flapped, silently gesticulating to each other. They look as though they are having a silent conversation.

I made some more drawings.

Thank you so much both, I am a bit delayed in replying.
Normandie... so nice. I love the mundane and the accidental.They are some of the things that interest me most. Everywhere here there are odd things which I pick up when I walk.I have a collection which at some time I will get round to drawing.. not pretty things ..just things. Thank you for your insight.

Clive! you are so right.. the gloves are just lovely, and yes the puppets have me! More puppety stuff soon !
